SLAYER RETURN…FOR GOOD?

|

So what’s the deal with Slayer? Are they really retired if they keep signing on for new gigs, especially ones that make our mouths water like these two upcoming shows in the UK this summer? Kerry King told us last year in Germany at the listening session for this searing solo album that Slayer were only reforming for the 2024 summer festivals and that there’d be no new album from the thrash metal titans, but who the hell really knows for sure?

One thing we do know is that these two shows set to take place in Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on July 3rd and London’s Finsbury Park on July 6th are more than just concerts – it’s a celebration of everything the iconic band and their fans have built together. The unmissable outdoor events will mark the first time in six years that Slayer has performed in the UK. A career-spanning set, stage production like you’ve never seen before, and a night of pure thrash fury that will be remembered forever. These two epic shows bring Slayer together with not one, not two, but five powerhouse special guests for an unforgettable display of crushing riffs, thunderous drums, and relentless energy.

Just look at the support acts: Anthrax, Amon Amarth, Mastodon, Hatebreed, as well as newcomers Neckbreakker, does this seem a little too good to be true? Well, that Sabbath reunion show is happening, isn’t it? You might want to get tickets to this before they sell out, because believe us, they will be gone faster than you can shout out the lyrics to ‘Altar Of Sacrifice’.
